The network backup schedule defines a time period for suspending Tractivity software to allow an external backup system access to the database file.
From the Administrate menu choose Database and then choose Schedule For Network Backup.
Set the “From” time to a time value that is safely before the scheduled time of the external backup event.
Set the “Until” time to a time that is safely after the completion of the scheduled time of the external backup.
Note – if an external backup system locks the files used for the TracManager database and the TracManager Network Backup Time has not been set to cause the files to be released, it is highly likely the Tractivity software will report errors. It is important that if an external back up is used that this scheduled time be properly set to avoid such issues.
Backup confirmation message will appear under the Messages section of the module Menus.
