Database Path *

All TracManager client software connects to the central database

The database path will be stored in the registry associated with this Windows user. If other Windows users will be running the software, you will need to set the database path for each user. The database path is shared with all TracManager programs that run on the same computer, there is no need to set the database for the other programs.

Setting the Access database path for TracManager clients *

The client will need a mapped drive pointing to a shared folder where the Access database is located. The “path” is all that is set, the file name located withing the folder is automatically assumed.

The prompt appear as follows:

Choose Access database then click Next

Browse to the folder containing the database. Be sure that folder ICON that the database is located appears as “open”. Click Next

Leave the default 60 second timeout setting and click Next.
